About Karen Pelletier
Maine Divorce and Family Mediator
Offering Peaceful Solutions
for Life’s Most Difficult Decisions
About Me
As a divorce mediator, I find deep fulfillment in helping individuals and families move from conflict toward clarity, harmony, and peace. I understand how emotionally overwhelming separation can be, and I’m committed to creating a calm, safe, and respectful space where each voice is heard. Guiding people through difficult transitions with balance and compassion allows me to support healthier outcomes – not just legally but also emotionally and practically. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness moments of understanding and cooperation that lead to more peaceful resolutions and brighter, happier futures.
I have been working as a professional mediator in the state of Maine for over 20 years, and my experiences both professionally and personally have contributed to my patient, compassionate approach to conducting mediation sessions.
I have first hand personal knowledge of separation and divorce with children. My goal is to help others through the process of making the difficult arrangements and decisions so they can look forward to moving on with their lives.
I live in Portland with my partner and my dog, and I love spending time in the Maine outdoors, especially in Rangeley, Acadia National Park, and the Katahdin region. My two grown children also live nearby in Portland, Maine, and a step-daughter and her growing family live in Cambridge, Massachusetts and they visit Maine often.
